Nick Jones

Nick has been recording and producing music since 2016 and enjoys working with a range of styles and genres.  Being a musician himself allows him to communicate easily with his clients about their needs and better understand their goals.  Being able to speak the musical language helps him greatly when working with artists as a producer, while his deep technical knowledge gives him an edge as an engineer. 

Nick attended Shenandoah Conservatory where he studied Music Production and Recording Technology, with a focus in jazz guitar.  During his time in school he took advanced music theory and arrangement classes, as well as a variety of technology classes in topics from recording techniques to software and electronics.

Since joining the Bias team in 2019, he has worked on an assortment of projects ranging from pop to jazz and rock to classical.  His focus is always on the client, giving them what they want, and making them feel as comfortable as possible.  The music always comes first and maintaining the vibe helps artists to get into their most creative space.

In addition to engineering and producing, Nick is a an avid photographer and videographer.  He also enjoys hiking and skiing, as well as collecting vintage vinyl.
