Matt Twiford

Matt Twiford is an engineer and producer from the D.C. area with over 13 years experience in recording, mixing, and production. Since joining Bias in 2018, he’s worked with a wide variety of artists from hip-hop (Yoe Luv, Sheed Lucci) to rock (Tommy Models, Water on Mars) to alternative (April + Vista) and more.

He's produced and released 5 records as one-half of the electronic music duo Slightly Faded, available on all streaming platforms. He plays guitar and bass and produces in Ableton Live.

His audio expertise extends into post-production as well, having mixed documentary films including FREELANCERS: With Bill Gentile (Journeyman Pictures), Unbreathable: The Fight for Healthy Air (New Day Films) and What Happened 2 Chocolate City (MigKeb Productions.)

Outside of Bias, Matt teaches in the Audio Technology department at American University in D.C.
