Jay Que

Joshua Queen, known by his music industry moniker “Jay Que”, was born in Prince George’s County, MD, raised in Seat Pleasant, MD in his early youth, and Waldorf, MD during his teens years. Jay’s early upraising in the church, playing in his elementary and middle school’s Drumline, and being the lead vocalist in a Go-Go band, shows his growth and love of all music. Jay was influenced by the Drumline movie, Gospel and Go-Go music, and sought his musical inspiration from Chuck Brown, Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre, Derek Ali, Dave Grohl, and Kirk Franklin.

Jay Que is a creative and entrepreneurial mind, he spends his time perfecting and mastering his own musical sound or collaborating with other artists. Jay graduated from Omega Studios Rockville, MD in 2014 for Audio Production, also completed Streaky Mastering course in 2018. Jay continues his career by working with artist like Chink Santana, Raheem Devaughn, Shy Glizzy ,Q Da Fool, Rico Nasty, and so many more.
